Refund policy

*BEFORE YOU RETURN*
  1. First, be sure you're making our Chai using our recommended method by following these instructions exactly.
  2. Second, consider any of our enhancements offered in our brewing tips page.
  3. Third, you may find use of your Chai yet! Did you know you could get creative in the kitchen with our chai spices using our recipes blog?
  4. Finally, is the issue at hand one where we can replace the product? If so, let us know at hello@chaifor.com.
WHAT QUALIFIES FOR A REFUND
Returned items inspected and approved by Chai For
WHAT CAN'T BE RETURNED
  • Chai products. All Chai purchases are final sale.
  • Gift Cards (including physical gift cards, e-gift cards, and promotional gift cards). Gift Cards issued by chai for are non-refundable.
  • Any order without an order number and/or receipt.
  • Any order in which a discount code or coupon code was used. 
  • Any order in which the item was on sale.
  • Any order purchased 31 or more days prior.
WHAT CAN BE RETURNED
Merchandise. Returned, unused, unaltered, and undamaged merchandise with original packaging purchased within 30 days of refund request.

REFUND INITIATION TIMELINE
All refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.

HOW TO INTIATE A RETURN
To initiate a return, email hello@chaifor.com within 30 days of your order. Include your full name, shipping address, order number, purchase date (not delivery date), and the items you wish to return. Please allow 3-5 business days for our response. Approved returns will receive a USPS label with a 5-day usage window. After this period, return shipping label will void and return shipment becomes the customer's responsibility.

REFUND TIMELINE AND COMMUNICATION
Upon receipt of the returned items, Chai For will inspect the item to ensure that the merchandise item is unused, unaltered, and undamaged and is in its original packaging. Refund-approved merchandise must also be in new condition. Upon the condition of an approved return, Chai For will issue a 100% refund for the approved returned items. Allow reasonable return period (30 days recommended) from the date of notification of refund for the refund to processed. 
If you haven’t yet received refund be sure that is is still within 30 days of the date of refund notification. Thoroughly check your bank account/credit card/purchasing account again as it may take time for the refund to post even when it has been issued by Chai For. 
If  the refund request is rejected, Chai For will notify the customer via provided email.

3RD PARTY RETAILER CLAUSE
Any item purchased via a 3rd party source (Amazon, other retailer, etc) must be handled through the 3rd party purchasing medium and is not eligible for refund through Chai For storefronts, Chai For online, or Chai For LLC.

Chai for honors exchange for clothing merchandise only. Please contact us to coordinate an exchange.
